Please Note:
The following Leica rangefinders measure and compensate for environmental conditions in real time, in the field. This compensation is reflected in the range these devices provide, and this feature cannot be turned off.
These units are:
- Rangemaster CRF 1600, 1600-B, 2000-B and 2700-B
- Geovid HD-R type 402/402 and HD-R 2700
- Geovid HD-B, HD-B ed. 2200 and HD-B 3000
If you use one of these Leica rangefinders listed above, you must enter:
0' elevation for altitude , 59 degrees F for temperature, 29.921hg for pressure , and 50% for humidity, when building a turret in order for your turret and rangefinder to work correctly together.
For any other Leica rangefinder, simply enter the data as normal and requested by the turret builder.
